Cancelling Subscription Plan
You can cancel your Daton subscription plan anytime, but the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You continue to have access until cancellation takes effect.
Policies Regarding Cancellations
Scheduled Cancellations: Cancellation requests take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, allowing you to use the service you have paid for.
Mid-Cycle Cancellations: Mid-cycle cancellations are not allowed.
Outstanding Payments: All outstanding payments must be cleared before a cancellation can be processed.
No Refunds for Prepaid Plans: No refunds are provided for cancellations. If you cancel midway through the billing cycle, you will not receive a refund for the unused portion.
Yearly Plan Cancellations: For annual plans, service continues until the end of the yearly cycle, even if you cancel mid-year.
Enterprise Plan Cancellation: Specific cancellation policies may apply as per contractual agreements for enterprise plans.
Downgrades/Upgrades: If you request a downgrade or upgrade while a cancellation is scheduled, the cancellation request will be automatically cancelled, and your downgrade or upgrade request will be processed instead.
Data Deletion: All data will be deleted three months after the plan cancellation. Please ensure you export your data before the cancellation takes effect.
Cancelling Cancellation Requests: Cancellation requests can be cancelled any time before the end of the current billing cycle. When you cancel your subscription plan, a "Cancel" button automatically appears in the All Requests table within the Requests tab, allowing you to reverse the plan change action you have taken.
All data will be deleted post-plan cancellation. You must export your data before cancellation.
How to Cancel Your Subscription Plan
Cancelling a subscription plan with Daton is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Log into your Daton account.
2. Click on the profile icon at the top right corner of your page.
3. In the dropdown menu, select Subscription.
4. In the Subscription dashboard, navigate to the Overview tab.
5. Click the Cancel Subscription button.
6. A confirmation dialog box opens. Click Proceed to confirm your cancellation request.
7. A Request Successful dialog box will open. This dialog box will inform you that your subscription is scheduled to be canceled at the end of your billing cycle and will display the date your billing cycle ends.
Click Go To Request to see the All Request table in the Request tab and your cancellation request.
Alternatively, click Later to cancel your cancellation request and close the dialog box.
Additional Note
- You can cancel your cancellation request at any time before it takes effect.
- When you cancel your subscription plan, a Cancel button is automatically available in the All Request table of the Request tab to cancel the plan change action you have taken. You can click this button to cancel your plan cancellation request.
- The cancellation will take effect after the current billing cycle ends. You will continue to have access to Daton until your current billing cycle ends.
