Improved Error Visibility for Warehouse Issues

What was the issue

Some warehouse errors, such as authentication and billing failures, were previously hidden from users.

What we fixed

The system now displays 'Action Required' banners for all warehouse errors, along with clear next steps.

Why this matters

You can now identify and resolve warehouse issues faster across all connectors and tables in Daton.

Do you need to do anything?

Review any 'Action Required' banners and follow the provided steps to resolve issues promptly.

Amazon Selling Partner – List Transactions: Next Token Expiration Fix

What was the issue

Some users encountered a “Next token has expired” error when accessing the ListTransactions table, causing data retrieval failures.

What we fixed

We improved the token handling process in the List Transactions pipeline. Tokens now refresh correctly when fetching large amounts of data, preventing premature expiration and ensuring smooth operation.

Why this matters

You can now reliably access and sync transaction data without interruptions or errors.

Do you need to do anything?

No action required.

Amazon Selling Partner – Intermittent Data Fetch Stoppage: PromotionPerformanceReport & CouponPerformanceReport

What was the issue

Automatic data fetches for the PromotionsPerformanceReport and CouponPerformanceReport tables sometimes stopped unexpectedly, causing data gaps.

What we fixed

We improved the data fetching process and resolved a scheduling conflict that prevented updates after certain dates. These tables now refresh reliably with the latest promotion and coupon performance data.

Why this matters

You’ll now see complete and current performance data, enabling more accurate analysis and informed business decisions.

Data Discrepancy between Northbeam UI and Daton

What was the issue

Some users observed inconsistencies between the data displayed in the Northbeam UI and the data replicated through Daton. These discrepancies affected the accuracy of reporting and the overall reliability of the data.

What we fixed

A filtering issue within the connector logic was causing certain valid records to be excluded under specific conditions. This issue has been resolved, ensuring that all relevant records are now captured and synced correctly.

Why this matters

Following this update, the Daton data sets are entirely consistent with the Northbeam UI. Users can rely on accurate, unified data across both systems, improving the quality of reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

Do you need to do anything?

Yes. Please roll back the existing integrations to apply the fix and ensure complete data synchronization.

Zenshows Connector Ensures Continuous Access to Latest Data

What was the issue

The Zenshows connector was unable to retrieve data beyond February 7, 2025, leading to incomplete performance insights for users.

What we fixed

We identified and removed a limitation in the data extraction logic that restricted record retrieval after a specific date. The connector can now seamlessly fetch both historical and recent data without any interruptions.

Why this matters

With this fix, ZenShows data in Daton is now complete and up to date. Users can expect accurate reporting, comprehensive campaign visibility, and more dependable analytics for informed decision-making.

Do you need to do anything?

No action is required. The update has been automatically applied, and all upcoming data syncs will run as expected.

Amazon Sponsored Brands: Bid Recommendations

What was the issue

We’ve fixed the “Unrecognized AdFormat value” issue that previously caused table failures.

What we fixed

Only valid AdFormat values are now passed when fetching bid recommendations, ensuring your data is accurate and reliable.

Why this matters

Table failures related to invalid AdFormat values are eliminated.

Do you need to do anything?

None required.

🚀Enhancements

Amazon DSP 90 Days Historical Load Limit

What we improved

We’ve updated the way Amazon DSP report data is fetched for newly created tables to prevent errors related to the API’s date range limits.

How it works

The start date for fetching report data is now capped at 90 days before the current date. This ensures that even if the initial run is delayed or fails, there is a 5-day buffer to retry within Amazon DSP’s 95-day limit.

Why this matters

Prevents permanent data fetch failures for new tables caused by missed initial runs.
Reduces the risk of 400 errors from Amazon DSP APIs due to start dates outside the allowed range.

What you need to do

No action required

EasyEcom: New Table Order Details

What we improved

We’ve added a new order_details table to provide SKU-level granularity for combo and bundle products. This enables more accurate analysis of product performance, inventory management, and financial reporting by exposing child SKU information. For details on the table schema, please refer to the documentation here.

How it works

The new order_details table is built using the EasyEcom GetOrderDetail API. For orders with combo or bundle SKUs, the API returns a component_data field that provides child SKU-level details. This information is captured to break down each order into its individual components, including SKUs, quantities, pricing, discounts, taxes, and inventory tracking details.

Why this matters

1. Provides complete visibility into combo/bundle product structures
2. Supports financial Analysis at the component level

What you need to do

To start receiving SKU-level details for combo and bundle products, users will need to edit their EasyEcom integration and add the new order_details table. No further action is required once the table is added.

VINCULUM Connector Migration – Updated to New API

What we improved

The VINCULUM connector now supports the latest Vinculum API, enabling faster, more reliable, and consistent data transfers.

How it works

All tables from the old connector have been migrated to the new API. The backend now ensures smoother data syncing, consistent updates, and minimal disruption to your workflows.

Why this matters

You’ll now experience smoother data transfers, more consistent availability, and a more stable system overall.

What you need to do

No action required — Migration has been performed seamlessly.

✨New Features

Amazon Selling Partner: Data Gap Monitoring

What’s new

This feature helps data engineers, analytics teams, and business users ensure data completeness and reliability when using the Amazon Selling Partner (SP) connector. Previously, undetected data gaps—often caused by failed, fatal, or cancelled API responses—led to incomplete reports. Manual identification and resolution were time-consuming and prone to errors. Data Gap Monitoring automates this process, making it easier to detect and resolve issues quickly.

How it works

Daton continuously monitors supported Amazon SP report tables for potential data gaps. When a gap is detected, it is logged and included in a daily Data Gap Report email. Each report lists the integration name, affected table, gap start, and end dates. This feature supports the following report tables:

  • Sales & Traffic Report By Child ASIN
  • Sales & Traffic Report By Parent ASIN
  • Flat File All Order Report Last Update
  • FBA Amazon Fulfillment Shipment
  • FlatFile Settlement Report

Why this matters

1. Automates the detection of missing data caused by API/report issues.
2. Reduces time and effort required for manual data validation.

What you need to do

This feature is available on request. Users need to contact the support team to enable Data Gap Monitoring for their integrations.
