Configure Daton to import advertising performance data from NewsBreak Business into your destination data warehouse.
Prerequisites
Before configuring the NewsBreak connector, ensure you have the following:
- An active NewsBreak Business account.
- API access enabled for your NewsBreak Business account.
- A valid NewsBreak API Access Token.
- Permission to access the advertising account(s) whose data you want to synchronize.
Supported Report
Currently, the NewsBreak connector supports the following report.

| NewsBreak_Integrated_Report | Retrieves integrated advertising performance data, including account and campaign hierarchies, delivery and conversion metrics, event metrics, and ROAS metrics. |
Step 1: Generate an Access Token
Before creating the connector, generate a NewsBreak API Access Token.
- Make sure that you have an ad account created in our Ad Manager.

- Sign in to your NewsBreak Business account.
- Navigate to Resources> API Access Token.
- Generate a new Access Token.
- Copy the generated token for use during connector configuration.
Note: Ensure the access token has permission to access every advertising account you want to synchronize.
Step 2: Add the Connector in Daton
- Sign in to your Daton account.
- Navigate to Connectors.
- Click Add Connector.
- Search for NewsBreak.
- Select the NewsBreak connector.

Step 3: Configure Authentication
Provide the following authentication information.

| Access Token | Your NewsBreak API access token. |
Daton uses this token to authenticate requests to the NewsBreak Integrated Report API.

Step 4: Select Reports
Select the report to synchronize.
Currently supported:
- NewsBreak_Integrated_Report

Step 5: Configure Synchronization
Configure the synchronization settings according to your reporting requirements.
Daton retrieves data incrementally using the Date dimension to efficiently synchronize reporting data while minimizing unnecessary API requests.

Step 6: Click Save
- Click Save.
- Daton validates the connection.
- The synchronization starts.
- The synchronized data becomes available in your destination data warehouse.
Notes
- The connector currently supports the NewsBreak_Integrated_Report report.
- Data is synchronized incrementally based on the reporting date.
- Event metrics are available for supported NewsBreak conversion events.
- The synchronized data is loaded into the NewsBreak_Integrated_Report table in your destination data warehouse.
