 How to Get Started

• Request setup: Ask your Claude admin to add iQ MCP as a custom connector. Learn more here. 
• Connect: Open Claude and click Connect on the iQ MCP connector. Log in with your iQ credentials and authorize access. 
• Start querying: Ask questions naturally—iQ powers reliable answers directly within Claude

iQ and Slack Integration 

New Integration on iQ | March 2026
You can now bring iQ directly into your Slack workspace — ask data questions, get answers, and continue the conversation without switching tabs.

What's New
iQ now integrates with Slack. Mention @iQ in any channel, ask your question, and get answers in the same thread. Follow-up questions work in the same thread too, so your analysis stays in one place and your team can see it in real time.

How to Get Started
Head to iQ, click Integrate with Slack, and follow the on-screen steps. Once connected, add iQ to any channel by typing @iQ, and you're ready to go.

iQ Agent Framework Update 

Conversational Chat Enhancement |March 2026   

iQ is now smarter. We've upgraded the intelligence framework powering iQ's agents. The result: fewer back-and-forths, richer answers, and analysis that goes beyond what you explicitly asked for.

What's New

• ~90% Answer Accuracy
  Improved reasoning and context handling significantly increase answer reliability across queries.
   
• Adaptive Intelligence (Fast vs Deep Mode)
  iQ automatically chooses the right level of analysis based on question complexity — giving you speed for simple queries and depth for complex ones.
   
• No More Clarification Loops
  iQ no longer blocks on ambiguous questions. It makes a reasonable assumption using available context and proceeds with an answer, clearly stating those assumptions.
   
• Richer Responses (Summary + Visuals)
  iQ now surfaces related insights alongside answering what was asked. Because of this, responses also come with more charts, tables, and breakdowns than before.
   
• Deeper Analysis & basic predictions/trend analysis
  iQ now handel more complex queries such as market basket analysis, trend analysis, and forward-looking estimates using historical patterns, given the needed data is available in the dataset.
