If your Google Ads integration has lost authorization, follow the steps below to reconnect your account and resume data syncing.

Note: This issue usually occurs when the Google authorization token has expired, been revoked, or when permissions for the connected Google account have changed.

Before you begin: Ensure you sign in with the Google account that has access to the Google Ads account(s) connected to Daton.

Step-by-Step Process

  • Log in to Daton.
  • Go to Sources.
  • Find the Google Ads integration that requires re-authentication.
  • Click Re-authenticate in the top-right corner of the Daton UI.
  • Click Continue. You will be redirected to Google to grant Daton access again.
  • Sign in with the Google account that has access to the required Google Ads account(s), review the requested permissions, and click Allow/Continue to authorize Daton.
  • After you are redirected back to Daton, confirm that the integration status shows Active.

What to expect after re-authentication

  • The integration status changes to Active.
  • Existing historical data remains unaffected.
  • The next scheduled sync may take a few minutes to start.
  • Authentication-related sync failures are resolved.
