How do I re-authenticate my Amazon Ads integration in Daton?
Here we will discuss how to resolve authentication errors for Amazon Ads.
The Amazon Ads OAuth connector in Daton supports data syncing for Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display advertising profiles.
If your Amazon Ads integration in Daton has lost authorization, follow these steps to re-authenticate and resume data syncing.
Note - Re-authentication is typically required when Daton's authorization to access your Amazon Ads account has expired, been revoked, or when the account used for authorization no longer has access to the required advertiser profiles.
Before you begin: Ensure that you have access to the Amazon account connected to Daton and the required advertiser profile(s) associated with your Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, or Sponsored Display campaigns.
Step-by-Step Process
- Log in to Daton.
- Go to Sources.
- Locate the Amazon Ads integration.
- Click Re-authenticate on the top right corner of the Daton UI.
- Click Continue to be redirected to Amazon Ads.
- Sign in with the Amazon account that has access to the required advertiser profile(s), review the requested permissions, and authorize Daton.
- You will be redirected back to Daton, and the integration status should display as Active.
What to expect after re-authentication
- Integration status changes to Active
- Existing historical data remains unaffected.
- The next scheduled sync may take a few minutes to start.
- Authentication-related sync failures are resolved

Note - If syncs continue to fail after re-authentication, verify that only active advertiser profiles are selected in the integration configuration. Remove any inactive profiles and submit the configuration.
