How to Re-authenticate Your Klaviyo Integration in Daton?
Use this guide to resolve Klaviyo authentication errors in Daton and restore scheduled data syncing.
When is re-authentication required?
You may need to re-authenticate your Klaviyo integration if:
- The API Key was revoked.
- The API Key was regenerated.
- The API Key no longer has the required permissions.
- Syncs start failing due to authentication errors.
Note - Klaviyo uses API Key authentication, not OAuth. Re-authentication is completed by updating the API key in the connector configuration.
Step-by-step instructions
- Log in to Daton.
- Go to Sources.
- Locate the Klaviyo integration that requires re-authentication.
- Click settings on the top right corner of the Daton UI.
- Generate or retrieve a valid Klaviyo API Key from your Klaviyo account. Here is the document that you can use for this - Authentication Credentials for Klaviyo - Saras Analytics
- Replace the existing API Key in Daton.
- Submit the integration.
- Wait for the next scheduled sync.
What to expect after re-authentication?
- The integration status changes to Active.
- Scheduled syncs resume automatically.
