How to Re-authenticate Your TikTok Shop Integration in Daton?
This article explains how to resolve TikTok Shop authentication errors in Daton by re-authenticating your integration.
If your TikTok Shop OAuth integration has lost authorization and syncs are failing due to authentication errors, complete the steps below to restore access and resume scheduled data syncing.
Note: Re-authentication is typically required when Daton's authorization to access your TikTok Shop has expired, been revoked, or when your account permissions have changed.
Before you begin: Ensure you sign in with your TikTok Shop seller account that has access to the required TikTok Shop. Only users with a primary seller account can authorize the Daton app and create or re-authenticate an integration.
Step-by-step process
- Log in to Daton.
- Go to Sources.
- Locate your TikTok Shop integration.
- Click Re-authenticate in the top-right corner of the Daton UI.
- Click Continue. You will be redirected to TikTok Shop to grant Daton access again.
- Sign in, review the requested permissions, select the required TikTok Shop (if prompted), and authorize Daton.
- After authorization, you will be redirected back to Daton. Confirm that the integration status displays as Active.
What to expect after re-authentication
- The integration status changes to Active.
- The next scheduled sync may take a few minutes to start.
- Existing historical data remains unaffected.
- Authentication-related sync failures are resolved.
