If your TikTok Ads OAuth integration has lost authorization, follow the steps below to reconnect your account and resume syncing data.
Note: Re-authentication is typically required when Daton's authorization to access your TikTok Ads account has expired, been revoked, or when the account used for authorization no longer has access to the required advertiser accounts.
Before you begin: Ensure you sign in with the TikTok account that has access to the required advertiser account(s) connected to Daton.
Step-by-Step Process
- Log in to Daton.
- Go to Sources.
- Locate the TikTok Ads integration that requires re-authentication.
- Click Re-authenticate in the top-right corner of the Daton UI.
- Click Continue. You will be redirected to TikTok Ads to grant Daton access again.
- Sign in with your TikTok account, review the requested permissions, authorize Daton, and select the required advertiser account(s) if prompted.
- After authorization is complete, you will be redirected back to Daton.
- Confirm that the integration status is displayed as Active.
What to expect after re-authentication?
- The integration status changes to Active.
- Scheduled syncs resume automatically.
- Existing historical data remains unaffected.
- Authentication-related sync failures are resolved.
- New data is synced based on the existing sync schedule and configuration.
