When is re-authentication required?

Re-authentication may be required if:

  • The account password has changed.
  • The user email has changed.
  • Access to the Unicommerce account was revoked.
  • Authentication errors occur during sync.

Note - Unicommerce uses username and password authentication instead of OAuth. To re-authenticate the integration, update the credentials manually in Daton.

Prerequisites

Before re-authenticating your Unicommerce integration, ensure you have the following credentials:

  • Shop Name
  • User Email
  • Password

If you need help finding your Shop Name, refer to Steps to Generate Facility Code and Shop name for Unicommerce - Saras Analytics

Step-by-Step Process

  • Log in to Daton.
  • Go to Sources.
  • Locate the Unicommerce integration.
  • Click Settings in the upper-right corner of the Daton interface.
  • Verify the following credentials: Shop Name, User Email & Password
  • Update any incorrect credentials.
  • Click Submit to save the updated credentials, then wait for the next scheduled sync.

Note: Ensure that the Shop Name, User Email, and Password match the credentials configured in your Unicommerce account. Incorrect credentials will prevent the integration from authenticating successfully.

What to Expect After Re-authentication

  • The integration status changes to Active.
  • Scheduled syncs resume automatically.
  • Authentication-related sync failures should no longer occur.

Still Facing Issues?

If authentication issues persist after re-authenticating the integration, contact the Daton Support team and include:

  • Integration name
  • Screenshot of the error message
  • Approximate timestamp when the issue occurred
